I love Erik Weihenmayer’s spirit to climb. He fearlessly explores and experiences the world.
In October, Erik will be attempting to climb Lobuche, a 20,000 ft peak near Mt Everest. He and a cast of wounded veterans will be filmed by Michael Brown & Serac Films on a production currently titled “Solders to the Summit”.
Outdoor Adventure School was offering some spots to learn adventure film making with possibilities to contribute footage to the film. What an amazing opportunity for any inspiring fim maker to not only learn in the world’s classroom, but also work along side some of the best adventure film makers.
One of my quickly growing passions is adventure film making. I love the ability to explore, learn, and share. I can’t tell you how many nights I stared at that film course and contemplated how I’d pay for and get time off to do it. Alas, I couldn’t commit. So for now, I look forward to the upcoming footage this winter. I hope you take a look at some of this footage of Erik or the Soldiers to the Summit project and become as inspired as I was…
